Ramen Yushoken Ortigas stands out as a premier ramen destination nestled on the Ground Floor of The Imperium at Capitol Commons in Pasig. Specializing in authentic Japanese ramen, this cozy yet modern spot masterfully blends traditional flavors with contemporary charm, inviting diners to immerse themselves in a rich, umami-filled experience.
The menu features an enticing array of ramen selections that have earned enthusiastic accolades from patrons. Among the highlights are the vegan ramen varieties—Shio, Tantanmen, and Shoyu—each offering a luxuriously creamy broth that dances on the palate with perfect balance and depth. Jason Morris praises these off-menu vegan options for their irresistibly smooth textures and robust flavors, with the Shoyu standing out as a personal favorite. Additionally, the classic Shoyu and Shio ramen are beloved staples here, brimming with springy noodles, flavorful broth, tender chashu slices, and the iconic perfectly cooked tamago, delivering that melt-in-your-mouth satisfaction with every bite.
For those craving something beyond the conventional, the Karai Tokusei Tsukemen presents an excellent alternative: a rich, concentrated dipping broth with just a whisper of spice, allowing you to savor every element of the dish without being overwhelmed by too much soup. The TanTanMen here is a creamy, soul-warming delight, frequently lauded by aficionados like Nicole Therese for its silky, flavorful broth that leaves a lasting impression. Complementing the ramen is their unique rendition of karaage—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, presented in a playful circular shape that’s as photogenic as it is delicious.
The ambiance at Ramen Yushoken Ortigas effortlessly balances comfort and sophistication. Soft, warm lighting combined with a welcoming, intimate space immediately makes you feel at home—a sentiment echoed by reviewers like M Nokkrut, who appreciated the cozy atmosphere paired with attentive, friendly service that remains impressively quick even during busy hours.

I've tried all 3 of the vegan ramen dishes Shio, Tantanmen and Shoyu they offer off menu at around P600 each including service and each one has been creamy deliciousness, my favourite was the Shoyu. Staff are friendly and the food arrives in a timely manner.

If you're a fan of Mendokoro ramen, you'll feel right at home at Yoshuken, as it offers a very similar selection. But even if you're looking for something beyond ramen, Yoshuken has you covered! Here are a couple of standout dishes: - Karai Tokusei (Tsukemen): Craving ramen without a ton of broth? This is your go-to! It's incredibly rich in flavor and ingredients, with just a hint of spice, and even comes with an egg. There's also a non-spicy version available. - Karai Maze Soba: If you prefer no soup at all, this is an excellent choice. It's rare to find maze soba with thin noodles, but this dish is packed with meat and vegetables, and tastes absolutely delicious! Just a heads-up, it can be a bit on the oily side. The servers here are generally attentive, though be prepared for the place to get quite packed and crowded, especially during peak hours.

I am a sucker for TanTanMen and theirs is one of the best I’ve tasted so far. The creaminess of the broth is too good *chef’s kiss* Their karaage is kinda new to me, as it’s circularly shaped, it’s hard to take a bite of it as it’s so big but taste wise, it’s very good. Not undercooked. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We requested for additional mayo and no additional fee seen in our bill Totally worth the price if I must say!

This place strikes a perfect balance between modern style and traditional charm, with soft lighting and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The ramen was fantastic—springy noodles, rich and flavorful broth, a perfectly cooked tamago, and tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu. Service was impressively quick and friendly, even during the lunch rush. I’m definitely coming back to explore more of their amazing menu.

We visited as a group of 11 and were warmly welcomed and seated right away. Despite our large party, all of our dishes arrived quickly, allowing us to enjoy our meals at nearly the same time which was impressive. We even brought our own Japanese chef, and although he offered a few professional comments on the dishes, he was ultimately just as pleased as the rest of us. I ordered the Shoyu Maze Soba, which came in a generous portion. Once mixed, the flavors really came together, especially the Shoyu Taré and garlic. I enjoyed it thoroughly and finished the entire bowl. Service was attentive and efficient, and anything we added after our initial order arrived promptly. The Gyoza and Karaage were also excellent. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, and we especially appreciated the open kitchen. Another highlight was leaving without any lingering food smells, clearly the exhaust system is top-notch. We’ll definitely be back for more. Thank you!

Yushoken or Mendokoro, go here if you are craving for super flavorful, fantastic, and umami-bomb ramen. I usually get Shio or Shoyu but this Miso ramen might be my new favorite. The gyoza never disappoints.
